Christine Fitzgerald Christine Fitzgerald
Colana Sports Group, Inc.

For the past thirteen years, Christine has been President/CEO of Colana Sports Group which delivers a one stop shop golf tournament enhancement program. Prior to this, Christine spent fifteen years on Wall Street. In 1987, she was hired by Credit Suisse First Boston, and promoted to VP, Equity Research, a liaison in charge of orchestrating the daily institutional equity research meetings, marketing this product to global sales/traders, hosting the weekly Refocus on Research meetings, and a member of the Stock Selection Committee. In 1994, Deutsche Bank Securities recruited her as a VP, North American Equity Product Manager where she was tasked with repositioning/revamping equity research products such as the Weekly Portfolio Manager’s Summary.

Christine holds an MBA Finance/International Business from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Business Administration/Management from Adelphi University. She is one of three founding board members of the Smithtown Children’s Foundation dedicated to helping local families in need, and named a Fortune52 Woman of Excellence, 2010. Christine is a dedicated wife of 30 years with two children, living on Long Island.

After attending Salisbury University and becoming a PGA member in 1988, Tony’s journey in the golf industry over the last 28 years has included operational positions as a Head Golf Professional and Director of Instruction, and then eventually he moved into golf sales & marketing. Not content, he also applied his education and operational experience to the restaurant industry. Tony owned and operated 2 restaurants with his wife for 7 years and 20 ATM’s in numerous hotels and resorts in Ocean City MD, prior to moving to their current home in Williamsburg, VA.

With his operational, sales, and marketing skills applied not only in the private sector, but also at private country clubs and golf resorts alike, his wealth of knowledge and industry contacts are proving to be invaluable to the current and future success of CSG. His personal life is no less busy. He and his wife are the proud parents of 3 beautiful daughters.

Allan Newman Allan Newman

Allan started with Colana Sports Group as a sales representative in 2002. Over time he has held such titles as Northeast Regional Sales Manager and Director of Sales. Allan is a board member of the Long Island Chapter of the American Cancer Society. In the past 25 years he has managed his own charity golf tournaments as well as sitting on the golf committees of numerous non for profits. Allan is also a Professionally Licensed Auctioneer, avid golfer, a devoted father of two, married and resides in Baiting Hollow NY.

Tom’s mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis before he was 10 years old. This started his journey of raising money & awareness for a variety of causes. Shortly after being discharged from the Marine Corps, Tom went to work for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller. While working as a controller, one of his co-workers children was diagnosed with Leukemia. Tom organized a charity golf tournament to assist the family with their medical costs. Shortly thereafter Tom joined the Marty Lyons Foundation as a board member and Suffolk County Chapter President, on Long Island. A friend of his started a new airline called JetBlue and Tom came to him with an idea he had to change the way charity golf tournaments were conducted, mainly the hole in one component. The CSG Challenge was born and Tom has since consulted on thousands of charity golf tournaments and assisted charities in raising millions of dollars for their respective causes as part of the Colana Sports Group Team.

DMR Concierge Services

In 2006, Denise became a Sales Coordinator with CSG interacting with golf tournament organizers & charities showing them how to maximize their fundraising efforts through the CSG Challenge. Denise was promoted to VP of Strategic Partnerships, where she took on the day to day management of CSG’s resort partners and resort certificate recipients who made reservations through our programs. In 2014, Denise formed DMR Concierge Services and her company took ownership of handling all of CSG’s reservations with the utmost care and professionalism. DMR Services go beyond what a typical travel agency would provide. In addition to booking all aspects of her clients stay, they rely on her advice and recommendations for future trips. Her resort site visits enable her to speak from personal experience when it comes to a particular resort or amenity they may provide. She is also working on some marketing initiatives focused on raising greater awareness of CSG’s Resort Partner Program. Denise is a single mom who lives on Long Island with her daughter.
